Application portal is open
- The deadline for all materials to be submitted is Saturday, March 28, 2020
- If you are a 2020 MCPS graduating high school senior and want to apply for a legislative scholarship, please check your district and our partner list before starting an application.

- Each district has three delegates. You may want to contact your district's delegates/senator that are not listed below to inquire about their process.
- Students must be registered on MDCAPS.
- Please read the guidelines after you register in the system. All items stipulated in the guidelines of the online process are required. Please do not include extra materials beyond those required, they will not be reviewed.
- School staff must upload required documents (transcript and recommendation) via the online system no later than the deadline date. When you submit a request to school staff, please make your request as early as possible to ensure the documents are uploaded by the deadline. You must include your name when you email your request on the online portal.
- Out-of-state colleges are only considered for students that have a major that is certified as a unique major by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.
